Default The great Kibort Amsoil challenge

Since Mark is on " vacation" I am announcing that he will be at Willow Springs this weekend racing with POC. I will be there as well but driving my GT3 Cup car.

Just Saturday, or both days?

What'd MK do now? His last post was typically bad advice about undertorquing lug nuts on track. Was that the current last straw?

If Grandma Kibort is the only one driving it, the lap times will be able to be measured with a sundial, but it may survive.

Not a chance, if you drive it.

In all the years of Karting, and the little bit of amateur motor racing Im now doing in my E30 BMW, you notice that the really, really good drivers never rant about how good they are, ever... I dont know, maybe its an Australian thing where we are terrified of the tall poppy syndrome, but Kibort was just merciless in taking every opportunity to tell us all how good a driver/engineer he is. It was amusing at first, then irritating, then just a bit pathetic.
Its a sign of real class, that the genuinely good race drivers on here never, ever, shout out about their talents.

My life is so much better since I've made use of the ignore list. (Once guess as to who's on it.)

Mark (Anderson), have fun at Willow Springs and keep the shiny side up!

Anyone using this thread to throw shade on someone who can't be here to defend himself will have seven years of bad luck. Or maybe just assumed to have no class or sense of fairness.

Thanks for the heads up on Button Willow Mark. Would love to be there.

Well, I for one will be there.

This could be an epic event that will keep this forum running forever!

After spending so much time listening to all the wise cracks and naysayers, I am going to Willow Springs to see this happen:

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...-this-may.html

I'm not going in hope of seeing failure, but to to celebrate the event.
I think it's great that Mark and Greg may put on a show best seen in person rather than getting second-hand reporting here.

Who else can get off their butts and go?
Seriously.

So is this the contest for the $5000 and faster lap times? Are you getting to drive Kibort's car Mark? There has been sooooo many different gauntlet threads from the past I'm a little confused. Hopefully someone will be able to provide video. Maybe Bob Varsha will announce.

I think it would be better if we got the "Sunday Sunday Sunday!!!" guy from the monster truck rally.

Is there something being said in this thread w/o Mark that hasn't been said to his mentally unstable face before?
