The interior is almost complete.
Doing a back seat delete with a sub and an amp along with a new pioneer double din head unit. I suppose 2 speakers on the doors and 2 speakers in the back should be sufficient.
Messaged Hans for the speakers he had available but I guess I was about a year late.
Can you recommend some decent door and rear speakers that fit nicely without too much bling?
Share your experience please.

Thanks

Alpine S-series fit nicely. S-410 and S-610 if I remember correctly.

Kenwood sport series fit nicely in the doors with no modifications. I have a set of four in my car, but a sub is needed if you want any bass.

You can get pretty decent bass out of the rears if you get the 6.5" Earthquake drivers and mount them with Hans' adapter rings. It's not the same as putting a larger sub in the back but far superior to anything you're likely to get out of the door locations.

Happy with my Focal setup - 1000 Watt 6-channel amp in a modified rear A/C car center console. 3-ways in the front doors (woofers are in a modified Harley fairing pod wrapped in CF). 2-ways in the rear side panels. Sharkwoofer in the trunk. OB doors don't have a very deep indentation in the door sheet metal so I had to drill the metal door and used a small spacer when mounting the mid-range speaker. Made a mounting plate out of Lexan for the tweeter.

6.5/6.75 woofer

Sharkwoofer in trunk

Rear 2-way Focals and center console with amp inside

1000 Watt Clarion Marine Amp in rear center console. Customized lid for heat egress.

JVC receiver connected to infrared back-up camera plate frame

I'm sick of having no bass or mid bass so I am thinking about a 6" low profile in that location. This one is only 2" deep. From Parts Express.

That install looks great. Nice work picking your stereo shop and with your "make it look like stock" directive - very nice. Mine is stock except for - wait, not a single thing starting with the roof no longer being there - LOL
