Default FS: Autorotor 2.0 Twin Screw supercharger with intercooler

I've picked up an 86.5 Auto/no LSD, equipped with the SC and Devek level II Headers w/ X and custom exhaust, 18" turbo twist wheels.

I'll sell the entire Car with all the installed and running equipment as is for $18,500.

From the original post:
"Dyno showed when first installed the supercharger with no intercooler
6 psi boost and stock exhaust and it made 375 RWHP and 329 RWTQ."

Else I'm going to put the car back to stock as it is an extremely nice example w/ a 9 of 10 interior and everything works.

This is not a kit and the Twin Screw SC is for a 5.0 ltr engine:
Autorotor 2.0 Twin Screw supercharger with intercooler and all that goes with it for $5,000.

Wanted to post it all here first.

Thanks for looking,

Dave K

I have always liked the look of the twin screw setup....so much more integrated and "stock" appearing !

Thank God I don't have the budget for this right now....I really need to get everything else taken care of before something like that, but it would be SOOO tempting.

Thanks for the replies
I agree on the fitment as they look like a stock option and can also say the twin screw makes power starting down low in the RPM range, this car really scoots!

I tried to price this Twin Screw and there are none to be had out there, I know they were around $8 to 10K new.

I really don't want to part it out but I'm thinking and so is the consignment Co. I'm going to use, finding a buyer for the color combo with it being a SC 928 Hot Rod is not as easy as finding one for a Stock fully documented from new 87k mi 86.5 928 in pristine condition.

I'll most likely put the Headers & exhaust system on the '85 I purchased from Mike F. for the track this summer, but not the SC.

No reasonable offer will be refused for either car as is or the Twin Screw SC.

Thanks again!

Dave

No that's a Robert Budd Classic 9, however the shifter is a Paul Champagne.

I forgot to mention the Dash and Pod have no cracks, even the inside air sensor is undamaged.

Thanks,

Dave

So does putting the car back to stock also include getting rid of those 18" twists?

Hi Dave,

Just an FYI, pretty sure Andy sold the 85-86 Intercooled Twin Screw Autorotor Kits for $4100 up to $4995 towards the end (and after Devek involvement it was later retail priced at $5495)....but that was over 10 years ago.

I thought the $8-10K price you mentioned didn't sound right so i double checked myself ..

Still would be a fun system for someone!!!

FWIW, my systems were priced 8-10k which is probably where that number got stuck in your head.

All the best,

Dave

Yes it does, I'll have to buy new tires and come up w/ some rims but that are out there.

Thanks for checking on that $ Dave, correct, I based my pricing on what Andrew spent on your Twin Screw setup.
Given todays pricing and that they are NLA, well I'm thinking 5k is a good starting point, as you know you can't build one for less.

Thanks,

Dave

Hmm...KInda Want!

Dave, what kind of power overall is this unit capable of producing? I guess i mean how many pounds of boost can it run safely? It does have an intercooler correct?

Thx
