Default While waiting for my dealership to pull the PSD error codes...

First - guess how many mechanics it takes to pull the codes and why are all the doors and hood open?

Also this beauty was upstairs. 0-60 in 2.7 seconds.

This is my favorite with Ferry in the background looking over his shoulder.

Most likely because they had no clue where the diagnostic plug was located.

Wait! You're still taking your 928 to a dealer?

No, just needed the codes pulled and the airbag light reset.

Theo sells software for more sophisticated work, but it will reset airbag codes.

And it saves embarrassing photos of techs not knowing what they're looking at!

You guys all missed the point. There's a beautiful 928 in that shop. Simply gorgeous.

BTW, Notice how the shape of the trunk lid of the Boxster echoes the hood of the 928? Even the Boxster's rear bumper is reminiscent of the 928's. That my friends, is how one designs for a brand that aspires to proclaim its identity beyond the fad of the day. Take a second and look at that pic again. The 928 is an amazingly styled car. Timeless. A few updates and it would look at home on a new car showroom floor.

How happy am I there were no 'flame-surfaced' Porsches?

It really is amazing how that car looks completely at home in a Porsche Dealership some 30 years later. Completely modern and undated. Perfection.

All I know is...if I ever hit the jackpot...I'm building a big garage and having two of those twin-post in-ground hoist installed. Those would be sweet!

That's what I saw as well. Looks right at home. Great designs are timeless!

That 918 Spyder is sex on wheels. The list of things that I wouldn't do to have one is very short indeed.

There is a "Hammer" for that.
There is a "Spanner" for that.
There is a "Theo" for that.
There is a "Shark Tuner" for that.

Roger, they only charged $75 for doing all that and the enjoyment of watching them was priceless.

That 918 has a current street legal plate on it..!

I wonder how often they take it out on the streets.

Did you inquire about a "test drive" Kevin..?
