If so, that's pretty awesome! My Dad had a 928s he drove daily for a few years, then got a VW for "weather".

What do you drive daily? If not your 928, then?

The 87S4 or the 93 GTS are the daily drivers, the Roger Box is the only way in heavy commuter traffic. The 996 is left for weekends and evenings.

Yep. I purchased my 87 S4 5speed last year with the intent of it being a daily driver. It now has 202K miles and counting -- obviously the original owner used it as a daily driver for most of the last 29 years also.

No regrets at all! It puts a big grin on my face every time I drive it...

Technically not every day, but every weekend, (except for during a snow event,) at least 160 miles interstate per weekend.

Always, rain or shine. During the day or at night, it always gets driven 50+ miles every day.

Mine's my daily driver. I bought it to make my commute a little less boring. The purchase doesn't make any sense financially, but it does makes sense from a mental health standpoint.

No,
I store the GT for 5 months of the year . And only drive it on nice days , mostly .
My commuter is a new jeep grand Cherokee , just to mix it up I will take my Mercedes S600 / corvette , or even a 1965 Pontiac GTO

Yes, April to October. It can certainly handle snow/winter, but it's the corrosive road salt I avoid.

Drive every day?

Nope.

This time of the year, I spend more time behind the handles of the snowblower than the steering wheel of any 928's.

Yes. Although right now it's up on the lift. But it is my daily driver.

I own too many cars to drive any of them every day (except during the winter when the despicable Prius is sacrificed to the salt). If I need to go somewhere, it's a complex decision based on my mood, where I'm going, and if any car needs the exercise.

I seem to favor the 928, though - it is the most "special" car I own, and runs as well or better than the others.

No.

I store it 5-6 months every year.

I would never drive mine during the winter with all the s**t they put on the roads. And all the potholes too!

I wait until everything is clean to put it back on the road.

My daily driver is an old 2005 Ford Freestyle AWD.
Perfect for the winter. Lots of space to carry all that I need with the family and... Cheap!
