No Affiliation. Guy was evasive about the true mileage. In barn in Georgia for 10 years he says. Finally said 149K last documented mileage. Oh, no jump cover!

That last sentence in the ebay ad....... Who does that? I haven't heard that one before. Nice paint though. Car looks pretty good.

Ad says restoration, but parts look to be just thrown on, no detail on this one, just my opinion.
Never seen the car other than what was posted.

A car I may bid on. Auction ends today. Price this morning hasn't moved much from under $12K. I haven't seen it in person. If it were $12-13K might be a good buy considering he says he has documentation on engine rebuild &Tranny rebuild. It is a 5 speed 32 valve with S4 brakes upgrade. Only bumped because no one seemed to have any interest which I thought was a little strange here on Rennlist. Just checking if anyone here knows or has seen the car in person.

Hi, I had another local ask me and what I told him was it doesn't look to be put together very well to me, Interior is nice, but lack of detail in what was done doesn't hold up to a "full restore".
It could have been assembled and presented much better IMO.

Sunroof wired dangling down, new shocks but didn't bother to clean the A's or anything else in there or under there. Under the hood is a mess, lots of missing and broken parts, poor wiring job.
Rubber bits show signs of poorly applied gloss.
All this from the pic's posted, can't image what would show up in person.

I'd be really careful it's not lipstick on a pig

I just talked to the guy. He says the cover is in place for the sunroof motor. Was out when he took the pictures 4 months ago while he was adjusting the Sunroof. He know nothing about the cowl cover over the wiper motor assembly. I saw the duct taped intake tube, jump cover missing. My fear is pictures are deceiving and as you say the lack of detail. Is $13-15K out line for this car?????

Probably not; but that may have been caused when the bumper was impacted enough to collapse the struts.

The lack of detail on what shows makes me leery of the work that doesn't show (inside the engine), that whole resetting of the ODO bac to zero thing, like desmoines said, who does that?
