posting pictures of how you have connected the hoses would be a good thing

Follow up .Today done more testing ,before starting up i top up oil level to top mark.
One crank engine fired up right away and no smoke at all .Temp outside still -23 C .After a few seconds
normal moisture vapor from heating up exhaust ,non stinky smoke ,not even rich mix smoke.Had engine run till reached normal operating temperature .Checked my oil separator and no oil in it .What is going on beats me!!!!! but it is good news.Cant take beast for a spin on the street ,snow and a lot of salt but more testing will be required. One thing for sure i will leave that air oil separator on that line. Rest of the plumbing in connected as factory intended

With the information you are providing, rest assured that you are not the only one confused.

Engine pushes oil out of top breather at filler neck until oil level is topped off....no other changes....now everything normal.

That's not possible, unless you neglected to tell us the engine was laying on its side.

Something else changed.

I have never seen any smoke from my stock S4 breathing systems (that have been slighly arranged to provide a higher climb for oil to reach intake) and this is years and years of racing it. however, i will say, after a race, when i start the engine when cold, there is puff of start up smoke. but if im not racing, that never happens again on start up. (and it isnt all the time either)
lots of rear cam views of the engine redlining on and off throttle with no puffs of smoke on the track. always fillled to the max level on the oil dip stick.

Im thinking he has a valve guide leak too.

Oil smoke on start-up is usually oil dripping down the valve stems and into the cylinders when the engine is sitting. You burn it off and it's fine.

A breather system is really needed when you've got smoke during hard acceleration. This is a common problem when driving the cars on the track.

Then again, it could be anitfreeze on start-up which would indicate a failed head gasket. Check fluid levels and the color and smell of the smoke.

If it is a touch of oil smoke on start-up, I'd be tempted to do nothing.

I cant see my latest replays.
Follow up .Started engine again today, first crank start ,runs and idles smooth. Zero smoke from exhaust, after 30 seconds of running engine, normal water vapor smoke only ,temp outside -8C/17 F.
Took video of clod start but dont know how to post it (blackberry phone ) ,file way too big .4 1/2 min
video almost 300 meg. There were some visible oil in separator but only till engine started to war up.
Just to be clear .
There is no physical oil at the top of filler neck ,where the nipple is located(filler neck is not being filled up with oil ).Yes if you run finger on inside you will find oil residue .Oil in separator is being separated from crank case vapors.

Have any one tried to run that 3 way hose thru some kind if filter ? would be nice to confirm or dismiss my findings/symptoms
Even with provent or shark vent systems that line is left on its original setting
