If nothing else, run the tow vehicle. There is usually a few tow vehicles that run for this reason alone! In fact the 115 or 110 class was won by a tacoma!
Thanks for the encouragement Nxfedlt1, but the whole reason to go this year was so I could get my 150 mph run out of the way so I could run SuperSport next year, then hopefully run Unlimited after that. To me that's more rewarding. Not to devaluate other's endeavours, winning a class is great, but that's not my primary goal. I'll hopefully get the sc back by the May NORC event in Nevada, and run 170 or 180 class and break 200 mph again. If I thought I could have run 150 mph class without my navigator/tuner and the supercharger, I would have run. As it was, I don't think the risk to the car and myself was worth the effort and extra expense. If I lived near by, I would have run the event long ago, but it's a two day drive from here (and 2 days back). Makes if difficult if you have a family and other commitments.

Ah, tracking. Agreed, too far to drive if that's what you're after. Hopefully you can make it out next year then!

Just to make sure there was nothing else going on with the engine; water, power steering, oil pump; altenator; etc, I ran the engine once I removed the supercharger.

Sounded good to me. FYI, the intake hose and cone air filter was bought at the Autozone in Fallon, on the way back from the 2010 SSCC. Now I've used it twice, just doubled my value on this investment...
