I can't find the "Made In Germany" stamp. See thread about Chinese water pumps

Three Wheelin'
That would be a great parts car for someone in the area. For $2000 you get almost $2000 worth of wheels if they are OEM Cup 2 on the car and even better if the spare set are hollow spoke Turbo wheels. Rear interior 1/4 panels actually look decent. Front spoiler appears to be intact. All lights present. Lots of parts that add up if someone is doing a partial resto.

Whoever did those lights seemed to have done a professional job.

That pump looks exactly like the one I pulled off. It's a cheap Ebay pump.
Car isn't that bad but without being able to start or drive it has to be treated as a parts car. When my S4 had the engine fire the insurance valued it at $1100 CDN as a non running parts car.

Wonder if the belt tore, and valve crash. Maybe it can be cranked to check comp.
It's the proper color anyway. Also it's 86.5 based on VIN. Sweet deal for someone.

The Flachbau from the Sondewunschprogramm for the 930 Turbo fewer than 1,000 produced was a very expensive option and it was rumored that it was also done to a 928 or two.... Not everyone liked the frog eyes/flounder eyes and some people had way too much money. You could get the slant nose on the 911 in 1981.

Burning Brakes
Reminds me of Marcus Hutchinson's widebody, but the CL car is not a widebody. I dug up an old e-mail reply from Marcus (from 2001) where he said he used a Mazda RX7 headlight mechanism and it was not difficult as long as someone knows how to weld aluminum. This is the best picture I have of his car.
