Default 2016 Hershey Porsche Swap Meet. - April 16

The Hershey Porsche Swap Meet isn't too far off. April 16th.

Central PA PCA

We always have a great showing of 928's there and if you come into Hershey the day before (April 15th) you're all welcome to join a very rowdy group of us at the White Rose Motel.

White Rose Motel

Around 2 or 3 pm after the Swap Meet dies down, we all head to Red Robin's for lunch/dinner. After that we take off for home.

The weather doesn't always cooperate. Sometimes our cars don't always cooperate either. But no matter what, we have an epic time!

Here's last years threads.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!!

I have drill that weekend at Ft Indiantown Gap, but I might be able to sneak away on Friday night. Are you guys going to be drinking at the White Rose?

I did bible study at the White Rose last year, and I have say... I feel much better now.
Rick is very solid on spirituality, and will wax-on about Jesus while he puffs on a stogey. He's very convincing.
It is worth the trip just to hear him recite the 23rd Psalm while he drinks Vodka and chews his cigar.
A very enriching experience... a must attend event!

upstate Bob,

I have two different types of cup holders and I like both. One fits between the passenger seat and the center console, held in only by friction, so easily removed. It holds two cups, and has a space between for small items like a cell phone. Second one fastens to the carpet panel below the vinyl/leather on the passenger side, ahead of the seat. It has a 'folding mechanism' that seems to have been designed by one of the designers Porsche used for the 928!!. Fold up to be about 2" thick, then folds out to hold a nice sized cup (but not a cup with a handle!!). 928 OC used to have these for multiple year renewals, but I think that time is long past.

Just got the first taste of winter here in NYC and really it seems like I just put the car away, because I had it out 2 weeks ago, just to warm up outside the garage.

Rick gets cabin fever earlier every year. But I'm glad to have been prompted by him to make my reservations with the Grimms. I always chuckle when I go to the White Rose web site and am invited to "Stay with the Grimms" at the White Rose.

Looking forward to the smell of fresh cut grass wafting through the sunroof as I drive PA 743 ?? to Hershey and the Rose.

Thank you for these fine words Brother Jim.

But, it breaks my spirit to say that even though you've come a long way in your "studies" over the years that I've known you, I fear that you've regressed slightly back to your old ways by not attending our last "Study Group" in October. For you to get back on the right track, it's imperative that you attend our next meeting in April.

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!!

One never knows, does one? I would make the res; you can cancel up to 4 days prior and get a refund. Or if you wait and get shut out, there are other motels, on the side street right behind the white rose that I'm sure won't sell out quite as soon.
