I am going to take my time Z, I know it can be done faster, but this is an opportunity for me to get familar with parts of my car I have never met before. For example I may choose to R&R the intake manifold and replace all the vacume bits underneith, and then of course I am gonna want to paint something.................
Plus, during a cold winter with the farm burried in snow, in my shop by myself with a little country music in the background, everything is allowed to take as long as it wants.........
And I love wrenching on my 928.................Sooooo, it "wants" to take a long time.
Just in case though, I also have to do a brake job on the C4 and then there is winter maintenance on the tractors.
On top of that, I am not even going to start until deer season is over.....
But I will have to wait till spring to drive it. We get about 8 feet of snow on the mountain where I live. Once the cars are put away, there is no moving them until the spring.......

Gosh, where to start???
Suspension/brakes/wheels/tires:
Bilsteins/Eibachs, poly sway bar bushings, front and rear sway bar "steroid" links, cast hole rotors all around, Hawke Street Plus pads, ATE Super Blue brake fluid, 18" AT Rivas w/ Kumho rubber 225 front and 275 rear, and a carbon fiber strut brace.
Engine/exhaust:
RRFPR, Nology wires, Silverstone plugs, air pump delete, MSDS headers, 3" Dr. Gas X-pipe, 2.5" pipes w/ 2 Spintech Sportsman series mufflers, and an RMB.
Exterior/interior:
928SP carbon fiber wing w/ custom machined 10" mounts, 4" cowl induction pin-on hood(part of a failed cold air intake experiment), Momo Competition steering wheel w/ Porsche crest horn button, fire extinguisher.
Plus lots of other things that don't affect the performance or handling.

Mark Kibort has 335 rwhp on a "stock" 5.0 liter using the DEVEK Level 2 headers, exhaust and RRR.....
Wooohoooo!!!!
The only one to beat that is a recent GTS using the same setup.

Love those roots blowers. There is one on ebay with a manifold under it, looks pretty rough though.
My sig covers most performance mods, I won't get into bulbs and stereo and such:
Short shifter
Bored throttle body
0 guage cable from battery to starter
Deleted resistors and MSD Digital Six ignition
MSD HSC Coil
Exhaust mods, detailed below. May install my 86.5 RMB, but its about as loud as I want it now.

Does anyone have info on exactly how these improve performance. I was talking to a mechanic the other day. On newer cars, the performance gain would be next to zero, since computerized ignition systems can fire the plugs several times on each stroke!
I realize that this would be different on older cars, just wondering if the price of these warrant their use?

I have them installed. I bought used from Ed Scherer because I wanted to upgrade from the 20 year old OEM ones and the price was definitely right. No difference in performance or idle quality but they do look good (they're red and muscular looking). Trick is finding a good ground source to make the install look clean.
