The provenance is good--seems Charles M. Schulz bought this 89 red 928 for his wife.

No affiliation.

Right in Los Altos--wish I was in California, I could lay eyes on it.

Pretty good looking car. Price is reasonable given the miles and today's market.

It's probably suffering from a chipped intake and a dirty compartment, much like the other drivers out there not owned by car enthusiasts.

The 'can be picked up antyime after December 18' implies that it's not currently available for pre-purchase inspection. Might be an awesome car, but you won't know until after the auction has closed.

Where is the provenance information to verify? Did someone do VIN history, or check the license? I mean, what provenance info is avail?

I owned a Lamborghini that was owned by Bob Crane and got the provenance from his son, including records with Bob's name on them including old registration docs. That was good enough for me. Oh yeah, I had the interior cleaned to surgical standards before climbing in.

Paperwork for an extended service contract that traces to his address and has the VIN and other key info.

I'm sure you were choked up when you got in the Lambo
