Hood shocks upside down, missing washer fill, missing hood switch, missing left rad hold-down. Hood latch receiver mount looks bent.

offer $10k with full expectation of spending another large amount on fixing it right.

Looks to have been reassembled from a front end crash with what ever could be found in the most inexpensive way.

Which would give me a great deal of concern on what is underneath that can't be seen.

That car is local. Wonder if he would allow for closer inspection.

What, nobody searches VINs any more? There is lots of history, start here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...my-league.html

There is a name mentioned in that thread which will then take you to a treasure-trove of history.

Cheers,

If he can sell this anywhere close to $18k (or hell, $13k) then I'll rethink putting mine back on the market. My jump post cover is in place.

Actually only the actual screw on cap, the cover that goes over the junction and the 14 pin is missing.

Like everything else it appears to be an attempt.

After reading the above links it appears that the structural underneath may have been properly done, and I use may as it was an observation by another. Which makes me wonder why the more visible, and in my opinion less expensive, stuff was not done well.

Did the budget run out.

Every time I look at the pictures I see something else.

That said id it is straight, and can be had for a good price, then with 5-10k you could have a driver.

I haven't dug too deep yet. Still doing piddle deoxit items and cleaning leather. I am still recovering from the buy financially. I'm hoping to have some "Christmas Cash" left over after Christmas for the WP/TB. Will be hitting the forum hard at that point. LOL.

With all of the things you guys are pointing out on the ebay car, I am really starting to like my GT.
