I'm doing brake work on the blue pig (thanks rog100). Does anybody know what the string is for?

Something to use to tie the caliper up out of the way while the rotor is off? Usually to the top coil on the spring, to the caliper frame once it's unbolted from the spindle.

Just send the prize to my non-profit "Bob needs another Ferrari!" holiday gift fund, c/o me.
