I am not jumping on any side here.... BUT lately I have seen so much crap and smoke and mirrors just to get the customer to buy the more expensive products.. I always have to wonder what is the real RIGHT way to get what we need... Just because its shiny and new doesn't make it any better. SO do your own research make your own decisions and do what you choose is right. The bottom line here is. The only person you have to please is yourself.

Here. I'll highlight the important stuff, for you.....but read everything in blue.

The early fuel injection rails were originally equipped with rubber hose, which has a completely different barb than the fittings originally used for plastic line. The correct replacement rubber hose works perfectly here, as this is what the original design was made for!!!!

The barbs on the fittings made for plastic line are extremely sharp and can cut the inner liner of a rubber hose. This is the application that the makers of rubber hose specifically do not want their hose attached to!!!!

I know this stuff is really tough for you to understand, but try and keep up.
So what if the barb slightly bites into the house? It doesn't compromise the structural integrity to cause it to leak even at 100psi over 10 years on many many 928s. Fear mongering is a powerful tool when you are trying to sell a competing product. And Greg please stop the personal attacks.

As for the Space Shuttle oring comment. The O ring was tested at below freezing temperatures and was proven to fail. Group Think (look the meaning on Google) what caused to catastrophy . The FI hose and clamp combination was well tested in the field at extreme conditions and haven't had a single documented faliure yet. So again, I keep asking the same question, why doesn't the prediction fit the reality?

As for the early injector hoses, why are you selling them now with clamps? Is it aesthetics? Also, the barbs didn't look that much different than the fuel lines. Maybe a little less sharp.
