And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the 944 SHOULD HAVE looked when it left the Porsche factory.

Does that oil pan act as a skid pad too? it looks really tall for the 928
otherwise, thats a really cool installation.

We could guess, or we could measure. Coyote motor looks to be maximally 28.9" tall.

Ironically I can't find S4 engine dimensions. Anyone got an S4 motor on a pallet?

That would be THE MOTOR to swap into a clean 3-speed auto 80-82 car. I'm curious to know how that would perform then again with that auto trans.

The factory pan can be shortened, but Matt went with a Canton. Couple thousand miles on this daily driver with no skid marks lol.

Ok. We've got the chosen bellhousing and Torque tube adapter design figured out and I will machine it if your conversion is done with Dinsdale. He's the only one I trust to design the engine mounts and finish the install.....PROPERLY.
Take care, Rob.

Is this to adapt the C5 torque tube and 4L60E transmission to a later 928's bellhousing? I was talking about an early 16v car in this thread, but want to make sure I don't confuse you.

I am also still a couple years out until I take on the 4L60E swap, not to mention figuring out the wiring of the TCU and collaboration with the LH/EZK.

Just like all the other engine swaps, you can adapt this engine to either the 5 speed, auto Porsche or GM six speed or auto.

The 928 auto would actually be easiest since its only a TT adapter and a Flywheel adapter.
