Default Thanks 928 Parts Vendors

Having been a p-car guy for about 15 years now, I've purchased a LOT of 911 parts from various vendors, two in particular. One I've always found to be super-high service, but tends to be very pricey. I've used them a ton anyway, and supplemented with another major east coast internet vendor that is very hit or miss with their customer service, shipping etc.

As a new member and new 928 owner, I am INCREDIBLY pleased with the comprehensive offerings, customer service, and prices I've seen from the vendors that support this forum. I placed an order on the phone today with Roger who took time on a busy Monday, near day's end, to provide guidance and parts at a competitive price, AND get them out the door to me asap.

I am an IT consultant by trade and order IT equipment probably 3 or 4 times a week, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on said equipment every year. I forgot that friendly and knowledgeable customer service existed.

I look forward to giving Roger and the other site vendors all of my disposable income over the next few months.

100% agree.

After dealing with some vendors for my 2 sons' 944 and BMW, the gentlemen here are even more obviously superior in their customer service AND knowledge base.
Thanks to all that help us !

Owning a 928 without Mark and Roger would be inconceivable ...

Kind words Marc - thanks. You will find the 928 family and the vendors wonderful people to deal with.

Remember what I told you - Mark at 928 Intl - has a 1/2 price sale on used parts. Great people too.

Welcome to the Shark tank.

THIS POST IS
Roger, you are a very nice man, both over the phone and in person. You are great to deal with, and I will be a customer of yours until it's no longer possible (you go, I go, the cars go).

But this isn't his intro thread. He posted pics (it took a while, but he finally did it) in that one.

Well, it's nice to know that you take your customers needs seriously.

And are taking care of them (us) rather than goofing off here.

I am in hearty agreement! If it weren't for the support of RL 928'ers and our part suppliers I don't think I would have chose to stay in the tank. Thank you all.

I am never quite sure if our role is as a support group or enablers....

My previous experience being in the world of Land Rovers for the last half decade. I appreciate the knowledgeable & helpful vendors along with the community here.

Had a Rover parts vendor rip me off for $400 a couple years back.
