Every once in a while, I think about how much more real information could be shared here by the real experts if the extraneous noise level could be managed within the thread, perhaps by the original poster..
Bob, my response starting a slight off topic discussion was specifically speaking to one of the reasons and logic for the development of this new crank.... i think much of the information here is perfectly applicable to the discussion. (or is this just an advertisement for cranks? )

Another voice that would like this thread to be about this exciting new thing the GB had developed and the progress of the first builds and test results. I have a lot of respect for Mark as one of the few that actually gets his 928 on the track and gets results. God knows I don't. But there is already a Kibort vs the world thread and this is not it.
