One of 3 instrument board light ( left one ) not working.
I manage to reach in and take out thought its the bulb, 12v to it and works.
Circuit board?
Bulb socket connection?
Thanks

I just replaced my dash lights with LED, my left one didn't work either and it was the bulb holder/socket, I swapped places with middle one and confirmed, grabbed a spare bulb holder and light works great. I would suggest replacing with LEDS if you going to be pulling the bulbs, much brighter and more uniform lighting. I used the WLED-WHP5 from Superbrightleds.com

Thanks, ill keep that (LED) in mind.
I don't drive at night much but its nice to have it working.
Ill see if i can reach in and swap socket to verify.

Hi Barry, instead of trying to "reach up" and maybe breaking something, it is not all that hard to just remove the Pod and have at it.
Please do a search on "Pod removal', less than an hour job to do it right and clean all the contacts.

If you go the LED route, you need a different dimmer to control them since the resistance is much less - Ed Scherer (Protizmo) makes a first class kit for this that ties into the factory dimmer wheel

Having just gone through this myself...
Recovering from a previous owner 'just reaching up there'
I replace the foil, and found out the brass contacts on the build holders had been flattened, I tried the swapping game with intermittent results.
I ended up putting small pieces of electric tape between the plastic instrument housing and the bottom of the foil.
Tightened the contacts right up. No more intermittent lights...

the pod only takes about 15-20 minutes to remove...
not a hard job at all...
i also did the LED conversion...i metal foiled the reflector housing and the effects were more than worth the minimal effort...
i do think that the hazard light switch on the pod is too bright. i am looking for a dimmer bulb for that particular one.
