Hi, I have this unconnected vacuum actuator, just below the brake fluid and window washer top up.
I think this is something with the smog pump, that is removed from my car.
Question, where should the vacuum pipe that connect in here be coming from? I want to make sure it is blocked off.
Thanks

Thanks Maine - I need to check the "flappy" as well, so it all fit together.
Hope I don'y have to remove the manifold
Not something I want to do this year.

IIRC the flappy solenoid 'K' gets its source vacuum off the brake master cylinder. Electrics connected to solenoid too. On my LHD it sits on the very front of the engine and is accessible without trouble.

The picture in first post is the air pump diverter valve (I in the diagram) and the vacuum source is indeed the port on the bottom of the air guide. The line runs from the valve around the back of the right-side head and then into the engine valley to connect to the air guide's port.
The front facing port on the top of the airguide connects to a line that runs over the right-side cam cover to the tank vent diverter valve (F in the diagram.)

You know I thought that was where the air pump line came from. When I looked at the diagram I posted, I was skewed by the appliances locations and incorrectly corrected myself. Thanks Dave for confirming for the OP.
