Take the cover off the relay and inspect the contacts,
add some deoxit 100 to the contacts and try the relay

Go to the 928 Specialists website and get/print the fuse and relay chart for your car. An invaluable addition to any glove box.

My apologies if you have already done this, but...

The first thing to do is to carefully clean both ends of each fuse and their contacts. WYAIT (While you Are In There) do every fuse. Use the fuse diagram on our website to make sure that you have the correct size in each slot used, and that there is no fuse in the slots that should be empty. Using good European-style fuses, not the cheapest available, will help prevent problems.

Also today I pulled out the relay , pulled the cover off , it look perfect and clean I did Doxit it put it back together , reinstalled it and No change...... All other lights work and headlights pop up as usual . I did try wiggleing the ignition switch and tried high/ low beam lever. Nothing...
Thanks. Rick
