This is sounding like the 928 versus El Nino thread. Who's winning?

All was good until I got to Maricopa and hit all the traffic coming in from 5 on 166. Gridlock, not good for a car with a coolant leak. After 45 minutes of stop and go a little then stop traffic, I had to call it quits and headed home.

Real bummer... Drove 600 miles on Friday, just to go nowhere (well at least I made it back home). It wasn't going fast that was the problem, it was the driving slow that caused the overheating. Did I mention the outside temps were in the 90's and the temp inside the car was in the 100-105 degree range (no AC). It probably wouldn't have been a problem, except for the mudslides on 5 that caused all the traffic jams.

Looks like the hole in the radiator was in front of the supercharger, about a third of the way down the radiator.

Had enough coolant to keep the water temps between 180-190 degrees while moving, but it got hot fast as soon as I stopped. The oil temps also stayed in the 180-190 degree range.
