If yes, what day are you going down.

I'm going on Friday about 12 from Monterey.

Tehachipi should be open, as well as 46, 166 and 33. There was a plan a few years ago to convoy down the 33, and I can vouch for it being MUCH better condition than 5 years ago.

But anyone coming down from the Bay area should be on the 101.

5 is such a breeze!! i was considering doing a road trip with the race car to sharktoberfest!

how are the hyways now? time frame when they will be cleaned up?

101 is moving slowly.. Bumper traffic from paso Robles to Santa Maria....

I'm in paso for a late lunch, and may head out to the coast and try bypassing the 101 until San Luis obispo...
