Default 928's In Panama

This is a first. In almost two years I've never seen a 928 in Panama until yesterday.

Lot's of Cayennes, a couple of Panameras and a few Caymans and 911s but until yesterday, never a 928.

The owner shown in the pic is a major car guy. Runs a music booking agency in the U.S. but is French. Got fed up with the U.S. and now resides in Panama. He has a major collection of vintage cars ranging from the 1920's to current models and shipped them all to Panama.

He lives nearby and I may try to visit him next week to take a peek. If you don't mind off topic autos I'll post some pics. I looked at some of them on his cell phone and his collection is astounding.

In case you're interested I also posted the view from our patio. Gorgeous country.

Was actually looking for a thread from I think two years ago, someone way south was resurrecting a really downtrodden 928, looked to be doing amazing work with a TON of elbow grease and vigilence/persistence...wish I could remember which country for a search..

Randy, great to hear from you and that you're enjoying Panama. Would love to see some pics of your digs and of course the cars.

Greetings guys! It's been a long time and it's good to hear from old friends. If I get to see his collection I'll post some pics. Lot's of interesting people over here; native and otherwise.

Jim, the link will show you the current gypsy digs. Click on the picture of the house to scroll thru the rest of the pics. Not sure we'll ever buy over here; long story so I won't bore you but rentals are dirt cheap vs. purchase prices.

Take care all. I'll post again if I get the auto tour.

Yes, thank you! Funny, I tried a search on "Brazil" and it didn't come up.
Nice to see the global dialog, anyway.

Hi Randy, great to see your post! Figured you'd run across a 928 sooner or later ...
