In all those parts there's no timing belt. The "engine-out reseal" appears to be just for the OPG and the motor mounts, so no worries about Honda techs doing any seriously invasive engine work.

The car is certainly worth a hard careful look and an offer.

Aha, so somebody thinks mods decrease value? I asked this question a while back and got ambiguous "whatever it's worth to ya" kind of answers. Myself I would pay extra for 928 with supercharger, versus not.

The new owners probably got the car and...being a GTS, it burned oil.

The next time is was for sale by a guy just down the road from me in Menlo Park/Palo Alto area. The guy was selling two GTS's - Keiths car for $30k and a really nice Silver one for $44K. A couple of months later both cars appeared on eBay being sold by a guy in colorado. White one for $33k and the silver one (had 44,000 miles) for $45k. Seems like no one wants to hang onto this white one. Not sure why - at $33k it seems like it was a really good buy. I really don't see it selling at $49K though
only if you have a STRONG drug testing program at work... this was a nice car... but nice cars can get run down fast.... when you see one go through several dealers in less than a year you know it has issues.. that is a fact..

Too late smart I guess. Rolf purchased a supercharger for 'your' car, but was way concerned that it would diminish the value so it was resold without being used at all. We discusssed what it would take to get it on and off every couple years for smog testing too.

I think honda dealer made up these "receipts" from previous records of work done, not what they did. Hence the odd list, no prices, and missing key bits like timing belt.

I believe the LAST previous owner of this car lived less than 3 miles away from me. He contacted me a year or two ago and I went over and looked at a few things for him. I can't recall what now. It certainly is Keith's GTS. It had Keith's custom wheels on it when I saw it. It seemed to be in excellent condition, so I'm not sure why the "engine reseal" needed to be done, but it could have had a leaky pan gasket (most do) and needed motor mounts for all I know. The parts list is strange and I'm very suspicious of this. But no car dealer or manufacturer would ever do something that fraudulent, right? I'm not sure if those parts, like the silicone pan gasket, came from Keith. I don't think any dealer would use that. Definitely not a Porsche part, of course. Anyway, Keith was a fanatical, perfectionist owner who poured himself into this car project. Somebody needs to buy and HOLD ONTO this car.
