Put a magnet on a string and try fishing it out, a lot easier with non magnetic aluminum doors, although you will have to work to avoid some of the bits that are magnetic, none of them are at the bottom of the door where the screw now resides.
I appreciate the tip, WPG, but I think I'll just wait until I get the gumption to remove the door panel. There is no telling the misery I would cause myself by dropping a magnet down amongst the inner workings of the door and window. No, I think I'll just wait. Much safer to just wait.
