WTB 4 spoke steering wheel.
Looking for the stock style 4 spoke steering wheel in black for my '85. Mine has turned a dull brown and the thread is unraveling... Thanks!

thanks Leon, called them earlier today. 250 for a good used one and 60 for an upholstery kit. local guy wants 130 to put it on though so was hoping to find one a little cheaper or same price without the hassle of taking the wheel and kit to the upholsterer.

I have a black steering wheel in excellent condition that I need to swap out in one of my cars. The wheel that comes out will be available and is also in very good condition with good stitching, just not as perfect as the other one. I'd take $150 for it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll try to get some pictures.

My Wheel
The horn button is included on mine.
Here's a quick shot of the wheel. It's in good enough shape you may not need to recover it, but there are some areas in the leather that are not perfect as you can see in the picture.

Here's the place in case you or anyone else has an interest in having their wheel custom wrapped. On my wheel I had it made thicker, installed thumb pads and used perforated and solid leather.

I have seen Randy's wheel, it is _really_ nice, tough to beat the result, especially for the price.
For DIYing, if the leather and stitching are intact, any wheel can be reconditioned and recolored pretty inexpensively. This was a black wheel cleaned, stripped a bit with lacquer thinner, softened with Leatherique, then sprayed with Colorplus:

That looks amazing. Im afraid mine needs new leather though. the stitching has pulled itself out as the leather has retracted. Took it to a local guy who said the leather had shrunk too much.
Don the wheel looks nice. I dont care about wear at all. if it was perfect, it would look out of place in my car! Its hard to tell from the pics but all I need is a wheel that is still black and has its stitching in place.
