I like that you wash them when they're in for service !

Thank goodness there are those of you that love red Porsches, as you attract all the police attention

After more than 20 tickets in about 5 years in my first Porsche, which was red, I'll stick with the blacks and silvers thanks. The current ones are faster, I drive them the same way, and only get one every 3-5 years now.

I have no worthwhile pictures of the cloth Porsche Script interior. Sorry.

Actually, it's the other way 'round. I expect them to be clean when they arrive and to arrive with their car covers. About 50% arrive that way. In all cases - if they are staying for more than a day or two - they get a quick-detail-spray wipe-down and then get a cover. I have several 'extra' 928 covers for this purpose.

That '87 is an early one, low vin#, and has sport seats. And LSD. Just broken in at 50k miles too...
I may have to pay a visit to "Camp David"...!!!

What a great picture! Too bad I happened to be in Budapest when this post went up, I would have commented earlier.

And Worf, I didn't know you had such a sensitivity or knack for poetry!! What a nice surprise! I'll send you some of my favorite poems (some in German knowing that your German is improving constantly!!)

Hmm. Yes, that 90 GT was definitely without rub strips last time I saw it. Let's hope it is this weekend when I see it again... :-)

My wifes Strosek Ultra was delivered black from the factory and became speed yellow when Strosek made the body conversion. When she acquired the car she wanted it in red and made me start a full restoration job including a full paint job indian red.

Definitely an awesome GT. Had it not been for the rub strips (or lack thereof) and wheels, I might have tried switch keys and leave with your car before Dave noticed.

I'll get some shots of the script interior and post a bit later in the week.

Awesome pic Dave.

I have always wanted a black 928 5-speed and I now own 3 red ones. I have my GT, DR's Euro, and now the Coke Car. I need to get them together and get a "family photo" like yours.

Wow! Memories! That was an expensive ticket. I remember asking the gal at the gas station if she know of any local attorneys (she looked... "experienced") and to my surprise Zeeland McKinney, Esq. did a pretty descent job for me. Got it reduced to a broken tail light! Still cost $600! Oh well... Part of the joys of SITM!

Great photo thanks for sharing! The more I see 928s in red the more I like the color on the car. I'd love to find one in a dark metallic green but there must be very few of them out there.

Squirter block, flip-up wing. It used to have the wacky early-'87 fuel return mess, but that's been dispensed with in favor of Doc Brown's lines with a custom-for-'87 fuel cooler connection.

You know where...

I'm not even sure how to write in German "There once was a Mann from Nantucket."

Hey JD! You have a user name I'm still calling you a lurker until you get your post count into triple digits.

I have a black '89 GT. For the right price I'll even throw in a spare GT motor.

This thread reminds of the red(s) lineup at the 3rd Coast 10th Anniversary, circa 2010. T

Another angle from the 3rd Coast 10th. Tom Wyatt left early so his Raspberry GTS did not make it into the pic. T
