Last one I bought from them was a Bosch valve in a Borg Warner box. They're $80 cheaper now than they were in June (currently $135), so not sure if that's just because of stock levels or if it's no longer Bosch, but may be a way to get a hard-to-find critical engine part at a reasonable deal.

The photographs show the side opposite where the Bosch part numbers or the decal covering the same usually reside.

Speaking of photographs, I believe the Luftwaffe P-51's in Stan's signature were the stand-ins that served as adversaries in the 1948 Technicolor feature "Fighter Squadron" starring Edmond O'Brien, Robert Stack and uncredited non-speaking role by Rock Hudson.

Pretty sure the Luftwaffe didn't fly P-51's. Even in the movies. Those Fokkers flew Messerschmidts.

And they're back out of stock. I ordered another one this time around to put in deep storage. It showed up on Saturday, and once again its a Bosch part in a BWD box. Definitely a good buy for anyone who grabbed one.

Anyone have an idea why these came back so much cheaper this time around? Did Bosch make another production run?

So I went to Pep boys website a few days ago, and couldn't add one of these to my cart online.

I did a part number search, and found them in stock at Advance Auto Parts. I placed my order, and it was $142 plus a few bux to ship.

This is what I got. Looks like I'm good to go.

Think the Bosch part ending in #509 is for '85-86 & for the '87-95 the part ends in #515.

The electrical connector is different for 85-86 and 87-95. If you go the Advance Auto Parts route, remember that they frequently have coupon codes for a percentage off over $100.00 etc. If you choose to go there and find a coupon code, you can get an ISV for less than $110.00. It will be a CarQuest or some other part but it appears that these are Bosch parts with a decal over the Bosch part #.
