I do love Garnet Red and that car is just lovely.

Leave the 19 inch wheels on there and see if the look bothers you after you have had chance to acclimate yourself to them. A big change to your car can be a shock.

I like them, they fill the wheel wells nicely and they are not too busy. Bertrand doesn't like them because they are taller than he is...

Congrats my friend, that car is a find.

Whilst it looks good I think you should have left it stock.

Default Momo Steering Wheel

I found the stock steering wheel uncomfortable on long cruises, no place to hook my finger which is my preferred driving style. I installed a Luisi, smaller diameter than stock and IMHO really suits the car.<br/>

Wow, that is a terrific auto. Deserves special event status, from the looks! Worth an analog clock install, IMO...
I like the Momo wheel- let me know if you sell it? I had a club 3 on mine for a while, and then went to a "Fighter", mainly I think because I was nostalgic for my Euro that I sold, and that I had a Fighter on.

I can see why you would want a pristine stock wheel for yours, I only took mine off for preservation since the color is unobtanium now. I also remember how that thread feels on the side of the hand/fingers! Wasn't there a source for re-shaped stock wheels, made slightly larger diameter?

Not a fan of the 19" wheels on the ground though. They are sharp in their own right, but I don't think they're the best pick for the 928 in terms of diameter and design.
Terrific car, congrats!

I'm getting increasingly sad watching my car's "patina" evolve over a few years of DD...

Thanks. Actually the 19s ride quite well and the turn ins are sharper than stock. I just need to find a way to lower the front further. However, I already decided on putting a set of Cup 1s instead. I will post pics when they are done.

Well maybe you're right and that would explain why I love my 16"s so much...

Greetings to both of you my friends!

Now back to the main topic...

I am just getting some ideas. I don't know if I like my new Momo Eagle. I am just trying it on to see if I like it. I know I don't like the metal center and I will be making a custom center pad. Should I use a color matching steering wheel or black is OK?

The wheel looks very nice. Does it obscure the gauges at all?

Default Momo Eagle

Steve, That Momo Eagle is nice! Color match or black? I think either one would work.

I always tell myself the rub strips don't affect the look much but then I see a gorgeous car like yours without rub strips and I remember that I am totally wrong. Looks so clean really highlights the shape of the car.
