Default Found my 'Holy Grail' car....

Well after four years of looking, I finally was able to aquire what is my 'Holy Grail' car - an early OB, Light Green Metallic, with Cork Pascha. And to top it off it's a Euro 5 Spd. It was a 'barn find' for the previous owner, who did some fantastic work bringing it back to life, restoring the interior with Bob Budd seats, dash, quarters, console, pod, etc. etc..he did TB/WP, Steering rack, TT, new % spd, new clutch, blue hose/master, all new brakes, CV jonts, the list goes on has some needs (Don't they all) - still has original fuel lines/ball joints (scary ride home!) but I think the 'bones' are fantastic. This one is a keeper...

Bob budd interior...

No Bumperettes, no fogs....

Sorry about how dirty the car is - had to drive 250 mile in the rain...haven't cleaned her up yet.

Not a big fan of the OB's, like the later body style, but that car is striking! Well done, hope it's all you expect. Enjoy!

Congrats! I actually saw the car on Saturday when I drove to CT to buy a set of Bilsteins from the former owner.

How did you find it. Outstanding find! This one would be my "second" keeper! Like you been looking for an early 78-79 manual also. Recently purchased a pristine 72 Datsun 240z to hold me while I continue to look.

Congrats!

Lon
