Thanks for all the good will! It will be getting fuel lines and ball joints shortly..will need a lot of sorting through electrics, HVAC, door locks, etc..going to have to take my time as I really should be studying for my board re-cert coming in three weeks followed by a well needed family vacation - so not much wrenching time available - hoping to have it all ready by Frenzy! Luckily Sam the PO went through a lot of Major items so I have a great start...
No that's Andrew's car - can't remember his rennlist handle. From what I remember his is original paint, low mileage and just beautiful. Automatic, however, and from what I remember he put in the Black Pascha interior from another car. The only other car I've seen similar to mine is the famous Kermit but that was an automatic (and an incredible unicorn for mileage and condition) as well. I have never seen another light green metallic with 5 speed and cork pascha, but that of course does not mean they do not exist. The PO of my car said he saw an '84 5 speed light green metallic 5 speed in Germany of all things. Must have been special ordered as those colors from what I know were not available in '84 as regular order.
Congrats on your cool find, im glad i didn't know about that car I'd have three of them sitting here!
Mine are: 78 USA and 79 RoW. Both 5 speeds. USA is "mostly" original paint, was delivered with cork with tan/black pinstripe interior (in storage) now has black pasha seats. RoW car was delivered with all black interior with perforated leather, but has a new black/white pasha job in the works.
Andrew - pics of your car and of course 'kermit' were the reason I was on a quest for a Lint green car...I like the contrast between the cork and black in your car - it's interesting to see the three variations: cork/cork pascha in mine, cork cork pascha/black carpets (I like that a lot just to keep clean!) in Kermit (any idea if it was specially specified like that?) and then your car with cork/black seats is a great contrast also....Sam Johnson (the PO) showed my car in 2010 or 2011 at a Porche concourse in CT - missed the following year but he said everyone thought he was there because there's was a Lint Green/ Pascha car there..showed me a pic and it was your car...looks like Green 928's roam in a small crowd! ..just happy to have found my all time fave combo! Your cars are just insanely nice..may have to get them all together some day!

just be sure to let me know when and where so that I can be there to see! These cars are all beautiful! Kermit - the color combo, was the first combination of colors and materials that I truly was swept by too, and you guys both have very great examples of that. Damn I love this car ****!

My favorite with 275 green...all black with pasha...as currently shown in my 79 RoW.
I am glad Connecticut no longer forces the Porsche guys to take "Early American" or whatever the old plates said. They looked silly on Porsches. Saw many over the years at Lime Rock, silly.

You can thank a car guy for that...my friend works for the state in CT, and owns a Volvo P1800. He designed and pushed the new plate through the bureaucracy. It took a few years and everyone seems to like the change.
Fabulous! My favourite. I should've bought one over 10 years ago, before my S4, but it needed too much work. I've now been looking in Australia for one for years & years.....one day!

Andrew, that car is stunning...gotta say I love Pascha but in combo with the Lint Green and phone dials it's just 'out there'....screams the late 70's era to me. Have to say that when driving this car I have never gotten so many compliments and attention. My Silver & Platinum cars always grabbed attention but in a much more subtle manner. This car is an 'eye magnet'. Definitely gets noticed.
Very nice Alex. I really like this colour combo and especially the Cork/Pasha interior. Really epitomises that era for the car. I can see you have become quite the collector and connoisseur of early model 928s. Enjoy!
