The good thing about white is that it is forgiving to defects and is easy to touch up when need to. Interior looks alright for a project. I keep getting tempted by cars that are closer to done than mine.

Lots of work to do also! It will need paint...it is a true 10-footer, any closer and you can see the paint work looks like a pre-schooler did it. I have some before after pics he gave me, I'll post tomorrow.
He also "fixed" all the fuel lines with new, regular fuel hose, with worm clamps....and was nice enough to plug all the rotted vacuum lines with screws and nails on the line side, leaving all the ports that create vacuum wide open.
He also installed his very own eBay adjustable FPR, removed and cleaned the spider, and reinstalled, forgetting to tighten down the bolts on at least one of the legs. Not to mention he moved the IAC under the rear legs, near the fire wall...where it don't belong!
It is a total mess under the hood. It runs great, and then has a miss, like the whole motor looses power for a second, then back to running. All the electrical connections are corroded, and he re-worked the 24pin all by himself, with pretty much all the same color wire. All pretty much easy to correct, but what a hack....and he truly thought he was fixing things right...
Also, his wheel paint job is crappy. #30 wheels look brand new, up close, and I painted those with rattle can paint from harbor freight. He used a spray gun, and looks like a cheap silver paint. Easy fix..I did 30's in a day....
It actually does run and sound very good, drove her onto the trailer with ease..clutch bites great. gotta fix the power drop tho'. It came with a lot of spare parts and papers...gotta dig through it all. Tires are new also! And the tool kit is 100% complete.....that and tires are almost worth the price.
All in all, with all found wrong, I still fell in love, and was able to pick her up for $1,300.00.
For comparison, I paid $650 for #30, and only have about $ 1,200.00 in her....(so far)

After a few days...or weeks (considering work schehule and all)...you'll have a better idea where you stand. Sounds like a lot of tedious re-do work...but do-able for sure.
Good luck.
Brian.

L jet is easy, it's just measuring resistance to see if things are within spec. K jet is witchcraft in comparison.
Also the IAC is supposed to go under the rear legs in L jet cars. it connects to a pipe that connects the rear of the 2 heads and also contains the cold start injector instead of it going into the front of the spider like in the K jet cars.
But with the shoddy history of the PO "fixes", I would do a top end refresh with new gaskets, fuel lines, vacuum hoses etc just to be safe. Otherwise it sounds like a solid car.

Good to know the IAC is in the right place...it is not secured, as I can move it with my hand. Have not had time to study where everything goes yet....it just looked wrong, lol. Heck, after months of studying, and tinkering, k-jet is easy to me now, perhaps it will only take me weeks to figure out l-jet.
Top end refresh is what's going to happen with this one ASAP. My goal here is to get the fuel lines and vacuum lines sorted, fix the hack wiring and connectors, fix the "miss" or loss of power, and then just drive her around. Yes, a lot of tedious redo work for sure. I also have to replace the front ball cup. The po replaced the rear coupling bushings, but used an open end wrench and tie wraps to fix the front...wtf....he even warned me of that before I looked under......at least he was very honest! Haha.
Her restoration will nearly stop at that point, while I continue on 30, as all those things are already sorted out on her.....I have a plan....now I got to stick to it!
