Your GT originally had a Reno radio, so there was only an 8 pin DIN cable from the preamp out on the head unit that runs down the passenger side of the TT tunnel, and across the front of the passenger seat over to where the amp sits.

That's there. So I should be good.

Doesn't seem to bad. If these get rebuilt do they get new lights and does the color brighten in the red and blue?

Anyone know what the "correct"
color for these is?

I know they are steel. I don't recall if they were silver or "cad"

Never mind. Obviously the backs are cad so I'll make sure they are corrected.

What piece are we looking at? I don’t recognize it (not the bracket but the bigger piece it is attached to)

Those are the brackets that the s4 spoiler clip into. They are riveted onto the s4 bumper and have to be removed to paint it. Well, I think they need to be so they can be the proper color.

The irony of the car is have it is relatively unmolested. Just higher miles. Makes for a pleasant resto.

Intact s4 bumper air shroud as well as the air louvre.

Also ironic the new g20 BMWs also have these auto louvers.

This is supposed to be satin black. Added to the pile for powder coating.

Please tell me this is available as a part. The metal is fine but the rubber was rubber-riveted to the plate. Don't remember this or seeing it before. Gonna have to fire up PET.

Some investigation today with a dry ice cleaning/stripping company in OC. "Below zero dry ice cleaning"

I want to ensure the car is stripped ex excess paint layers so the next paint layer is nearly perfect.

The process looks a hell of lot cleaner than sand blasting or stripping. It's expensive but the hassle fee may well be paid.

I think the plastics can be just sand blasted but some body pieces would benefit from this.

Almost ready for paint. Removable panels out for non-damaging stripping.

How are we crimping new collars of the collar of hard line junctions with rubber?
