I was really disappointed to not make it to the event. I haven't been to Sharktoctberfest before, so I was really looking forward to being there. I was talking to Bill about driving down with him or just taking him with or without his transmission. I had packed two cameras and lenses and 3 video camcorders to record everything I experienced. Sorry to missed it all.

The rolling GTS bar was in service as usual.

Any count on number of 928s that showed up this year?

My guess is it may have been the lowest number in awhile.

Lowest? Were you at the same parking lot I was?

And yes, there was a tech session. It was in the parking lot.

Is worthless without a shakycam walkthrough. I was concerned turnout would be low due to the mudslides blocking the route for much of the NorCal contingent but by late morning there were cars wrapped around the back of the building. Not sure what the count was, though.

Lots of really nice cars today, everyone's stepping up their game!

The tech session talking with Greg Brown was great. And the fun run was great. One muffler hanger failure.

I figured we'd have a drone techy there this year for some sky shot coverage.

I missed seeing JB this year - had a Bloody Mary without ice all ready for him.

A well-done event. I've attended similar gatherings in support of other "interesting" cars, and yesterday ranked among the best.

As a 928 newbie, I wanted to see how people solved various problems and improved their cars, and to learn from the gurus. Also, I saw some phenomenal 928s - a couple of which had been downgraded somehow to look like Ferraris.

A pleasure, and my thanks to 928Intl.

Definitely not a guru

The day goes by so fast I always forget to take pictures! Hacker and Jim Corenman were snapping pics with real cameras, I'm sure they'll post soon. The only two pics I managed to take yesterday were both of Josh's 'Ladybug' car, fresh from its wrap. it's more of a Blue Morpho, now:
