Thanks! Give Dubois Fabrics & Upholstery a call, they are in Oak Lawn, IL, 708-499-2040. It is the 9400 Series carpet that they have available. Not sure the exact manufacturer but they can help you out I'm sure.

My upholstery guy custom made everything in this car which probably doesn't help you much in your quest for the best carpet kit for your interior resto...

The credit goes to my upholstery guy, who recommended doing it that way as it saved him a lot of time compared to messing around reconstructing the straps and such. I think it looks nice and clean and works very well. It's not original anymore but most of the interior has long passed that point of no return...

I've started prepping the donor center console. I am not quite sure what it is going to look like when it's done but I have a few ideas floating around inside my head. I've stripped the leather and underlying vinyl off of the foam. I am going to reinforce the sides and top to get a straight edge. The foam really has no structure once the overmolded vinyl is gone. I think I am going to fiberglass the entire thing to make stronger. We shall see what develops...

Just checked in on this thread for the first time in a while. Please keep it updated as the interior gets completed. It provides some good inspiration for some of the older 928s in need of interior love. Your car is really coming out nicely.

After spending way too long thinking about them I decided to get my butt down into the basement and just start working on my door panels. I'm making custom build-outs for Focal 3 way speakers. Bought a new router and special circle jig just for this project. Will be bumping out the bottom to fit the 6.5" as well so I don't have to cut into the door liner. I don't think I'll be able to avoid cutting into the door at the top unfortunately. Lets see how good my woodworking and fiberglass skills are these days. Haven't done this kind of work in over 6 years...

Looking good. Nice work with the lower door moulding for the 6.5" woofers. That's going to look great.
