Amazing work! Any tips on how to straighten warped interior panels? My headliner panel needs some adjustment. The vinyl looks just fine, but the structure underneath is warped.

We've been stapling the panels to MDF templates that hold the shape. Then we glass over it and remove the template and grind down the staples and then cover it.
Center console wrapped with the ashtray wrapped in black brushed aluminum wrap to match the steering wheel. I forgot how much of a PITA wrapping these things are...
Getting the car ready for the original bumpers. Pulled the American Racing rear bumper off today and took advantage of the unusually warm weather to get all the front plastic sprayed with Eastwood's plastic resurfacer. Everything turned out pretty well IMO...
i bet the plastic restorer would work well on faded rear spoilers
I plan on using it on my '89's spoiler as that has turned a nice shade of light gray over the years. I used the same stuff on my Avalanche rear bed pieces and it looks better than new. It's been holding up incredibly well a year into it. Well worth the $20 a can when its on sale...
Wrapped the gear shift and radio surround in the brushed aluminum vinyl. One would think that the smaller pieces would be easy but they are harder to wrap than the large parts. Tight corners are really hard to keep clean...
I also finished prepping the cluster surround for the carbon fiber vinyl. I striped off all the black cracked factory vacuum formed vinyl, removed the peaks around the switches, and repaired any damaged foam across the entire part. Hopefully it turns out good...
Some Saturday morning progress. Got the American Racing front bumper removed and fitted up the replacement. Its going to need some love to smooth out the floatiness across the top.
More info on gaining headroom, please. I have an '83 with powered driver's seat and sunroof and need an extra inch or so. I have a long torso and short legs. If my legs were proportional to my torso, I'd be 6'6" tall instead of 6'2". As it is, I don't get into the car, I put it on, snugly. LOL @ss firmly planted in the seat and head against the headliner. Forget about wearing a ball cap, much less a helmet!! At least I don't bounce around in the car. The seats look great, can't wait to see the finished interior.
The inside floor and outside bottom are 2" apart. you could cut the inner floor, reinforce the bottom panel and gain 2 inches more head room. Also you could mount the seat on the bottom and gain another 2plus inches.
So I spent some time tonight wrapping one of the arm rests. What a pain in the a$$. I am really starting to regret going down this path. So time consuming...
