Hermann,

Neat! The stuff you refer to as "baking flower"- is that regular flour as used in making a cake or is it what we in the UK refer to as "baking soda" [aka sodium bicarbonate]? Chemically I can see the latter doing something unless the flour is acting as a binder to hold the vinegar in place whilst itetches the copper surface.

Regular flour to keep the vinegar in place after the vinegar takes care of the oxidation inside the terminals blow it out with compressed air.

The corrosion "X" step will take care of neutralizing any traces of vinegar and lubricate the prongs of the relay when it's inserted and protect/slow down any future oxidation inside the terminals.

This method is just a simpler way to maintain good contact versus removing the CE panel from the car and clean each terminal slot.

I very much appreciate lateral thinking like that.

Best one I have used was on my Jaguar steering rack box. The seal leaked like a sieve. Jaguar wanted $1k to replace the steering box. I took the seal holder off- boiled it in washing powder [no detergent] for 10 minutes - that softened the hardened seal face and it worked perfectly thereafter.
