Door Panel Removal - Shout Out to Landsharkoz

Many thanks to Landsharkoz for his tutorial about removing the door panels. I don't think I would have ever figured it out on my own. Especially the bolt inside the opening for the air duct and the fact that the surround on the lock is a screw thread. Here is the link to the tutorial.

I'm getting ready to install the door panels on my 928 project car for the first time, and not being the one that removed them, this will come in very handy for reinstallation. Thanks for the post and the link to the DIY.

this is a good tutorial.
I would also suggest to get a clear shower curtain from the dollar store,
and a can of brush on Weldwood cement from HD.
Use the shower curtain to make water drip panels for the openings,
then the brush on cement will adhere the plastic.
Then use a bigger sheet to cover the whole door ,
this will give the door a vault like sound when its closed and keep water from damaging the doorpanel and speaker
