This is Oregon, remember...
Heh, was going to make that comment myself. Do seats and dashes dry out like that in Oregon? Originally it was a California car, maybe it was here for a long time(?)

So, paint, dash, pod (?), seats, $5K in rubber parts and 5 gallons of elbow grease. The Good News is that it's only $18,000 away from being a $25,000 car.

Most 928s have a bent crossbar. The only solution is to go with an aftermarket heavy duty one such as sold by some 928 vendors.

I installed a carbon fiber type on my GTS.

So a 89 GT can be bought for $25k?
I would have thought its worth more then that considering 100 cars and all........

The OC Registry entry for this car is a place holder, waiting for actual car info and an owner to show up; you can contact Jarrod Wise to get ownership of this entry and add as much car-specific info as you care to.

Who makes that crossbar? Mine isn't bent, but it's not all that pretty, either...

If you drive the car at all aggressively that cross bar will bend eventually.

Here's mine.

I got the carbon fiber replacement from 928 Specialists a few years ago. Tell Jeannie I referred ya.

Yea yea, you are a regular Steve McQueen...... Tell the truth, you had it off for some maintenance while mouthing off to the wife and she knocked you over the head with it.

Randy drives harder up his driveway than most people drive through turn 1 at Laguna. BTDT, once was enough.
