Default My 1989 Porsche 928 GT

Hello fellow rennlist members, I have purchased myself a 1989 Porsche 928 GT that I want to either try to restore myself or maybe sell if I dont find the time.
The car has about 70K, Runs Great which I didnt expect due to the condition of the interior/exterior which was not taken good care off. It just needs some TLC
It does have factory sport seats which I am very fond off!!
What do you guys think?
Keep it and add it to my Black 993?

I thought I had first right of refusal on any cars you sell....

Then again, even if I left for the airport now, I don't think I could beat Rob there.

My vote, restore it and keep it. That will stack up well in a collection with a nice 993.

Lol, For that response time you defiantly deserve it!!!
I am really starting to fall for 928's........ If I keep buying cars at this rate I might be living in them.

Any 89GT is worth saving and restoring...is the engine the right one?.. how about trans? Need to find a proper set of CS rims. Sport seats are nice although they look really dried out.

Last 4 of the VIN? Is it on the 89GT registry?

Yes M28/47 & G28/55
Vin: 1170 (No its not)
The seats are dried out but maybe a restoration or re-wrap will make them be great!

Nice...built 5 after mine... You should put that info into the registry...always nice to capture them when they pop up....

One of 109ish... if you bring it back to original it will surely have good value down the road...

Woah. That's beat. Engine looks great, though - my kind of car.

No jump post cover and bent brace means you might as well part it, though.

Wire me the money. I can be there in 10.

I would have to keep it for a couple of weeks to make a GT chip, though.

'Cause it's bent in the picture?

Maybe it's an optical illusion, but it _looks_ bent from here. Maybe not, it's always hard to tell in pics.

Car looks like it has lots of potential but would be a ton of work. It has clearly spent a lot of time in the sun- How's the paint when it's dry?

It is listed in the Registry (the 89GT are listed by prod number not VIN)...

This is Oregon, remember...

Rear bumper shocks are blown. Rear A/C, ugh.

After another look might be slightly bent, Drove strait when I drove it. (They are hollow aluminum, How much does it really take to bend one?)

Paint is not pretty..... Clear coat is gone.
