Looks like the gas cap and the driver's door mirror.

And the jump post cap.

Not much else.

Gas cap still looks usable.

Pretty lame comments guys, karma...........

Good for the driver to get away with that - too bad for the pretty middie.

No clue on the cause of the accident. Just high speed doesn't cause a crash like this. Uneven braking (left-right), exploding tyre, panic steering to avoid something, does cause this kind of crash

It is amazing how intact the cabin appears to be. The PS side roof doesn't look too good, but it is almost possible to imagine the DS door can still open.

Of course high speed caused this kind of accident regardless of other potential factors.

One less now but as long as the occupants are well, there is no big deal.
What do you mean by Euro S3 - S4 in S body?

Early 32V engines made before the S4. First used in the USA\Canada and available for others markets in 1986.
288 HP instead of 310 for the regular S2 but a lot of torque.

I suspect the punter was going at a fair old lick. Having seen the remnants of a reasonable number of 928's involved in high speed incidents not to mention a certain 1990 S4, this type of pattern of damage with the passenger compartment in survivable condition is no fluke but rather a consequence of very solid design.

Nine years ago when my late S4 slammed into a solid barrier [at quite a steep angle of attack] at around 70 mph not only did I manage to get out with the doors opening as normal I was able to recover the motor and a whole of other things. The front passenger side had the worst of the hit and my 3 piece forged wheel, although suffering rim damage, had a tyre that remained inflated [the lower arm snapped off].

I would hazard a guess and say few if any cars ever built are as solid as these things. Having such accidents is no fun- that I can tell you- but if your karma is such that you are going to have a big one then this is the car to have it in.

Rgds

Why don't you expound upon that?
