Texas Crew OK?
Watching the weather this morning, more than a casual amount of wind and hail damage across parts of Texas. Softball-sized hail reported southwest of DFW area last night, can't be that good.

Luckily we are North of DFW and most of the twisters hit the South side.
Lots of rain.
Lots of rain.

Kennedale Is Clear
Adrienne and I are good! Thanks Dr. Bob! This makes two Sunday nights in a row. More storms forecasted for this afternoon. I haven't had to fill the pool or water the yard yet this year.

Mine is safely tucked away in a barn (unless a tornado hits) until the cycle of storms is over...but I did brave the middle of the big storm Friday night to look at (and get) a 911 that was too good of a deal to pass up. The interstate was stopped as the rain was too heavy to see and when it cleared there were some pretty massive trees uprooted (this was in the Midlothian area). I wish I had gotten photos.

Good here.
We braced for impact last night, woke up and we didn't get a drop....
As Andy said, lots of rain here lately.
The lake we pull water off of had gone up 12 feet since February..
We havent even hit may yet, more crazy weather to come!
Thx for checking Malcom.

I was monitoring the situation from my bunker in the DFW Gang Northern Command (aka Tulsa). I sent the following to Chuck, Sean, and Andy after noting the storm was about to cross the route many of us take when headed to 3rd Coast, just north of Hico:

Hey M&D, Just finished reading your Regional PCA article. Well documented and sounds like y'all had fun. Just arrived in CT after a 2503 miles trip in the 991. Visited with Carl (FLYVMO) and attended a wedding while in N. Florida, then onto CT. Spoke with Tambra today and it's all good back home on the Coastal Bend. Thanks for checking in and see you two at 3rd Coast ? T

All good here too. Got about 3/4" of rain, but that was all, no hail or high winds.

We are good too. A couple of trees lost limbs in the neighborhood but mostly just rain. I'm in Sweetwater TX (West of DFW off of I20) today, where the big cells and twisters will build and head East. DFW should be bracing for more rain from what I'm seeing here today.

The Denton area has had several severe storm warnings so far this year, but no big hail or tornadoes. Just some really heavy rain storms. A neighbor claims his rain gauge showed 5 inches from the last storm. The good news is that the two lakes that supply our water are now at full pool stage, up over 10 feet fro last July. The bad news is that there have been a few days when my car stayed involuntarily garaged.
