Well here's an idea...instead of winning your own show...drive something else!
If I knew your fine specimen wasn't gonna be there, perhaps I would drive my second rate unit!

 

Pat, your unit is first class and then some. You just don't spend as much time polishing it as Andy does his. Maybe offer to pick Andy up and drive him to the event in return for his helping with the polishing.

Well, I hope you don't think that 'cause I said what I said, that I said what you think I said. More probably, what you think you heard was not exactly what I think i meant to say...I'm just sayin'.

Hmmm...did I say that right? Ehh...either way, Carole and I will come by. We haven't had a day off in weeks, and my hands are shakin'.

I like my car. sure I do. But I gotta say there were some beauties at Mayo's today (cars too!). The food was catered and it was good, hot, and there was plenty of it! The Beer was cold, weather was mild and sunny, and no matter what yer poison is when when it comes to Porsche, there was something there to see.

Oh yeah, and I'd like to offer a special thanks to all of you 928 owners for not bringing your fine automobiles out today. Especially you Brad, and you Andy. It's guys like you, who would sacrifice a good showing, to allow a newcomer like me to have a chance, that makes this such a great fellowship!
