Not a 928 in the bunch!
180 cars exiting a "Cars and Coffee" event in Italy, one at a time, while police stop traffic.
Have to say that I was most impressed by the first car, a Carrera GT.

I have been to the Cars and Coffee in Houston where there were at least 600 cars and I was the only 928.
Don't see too many at the car shows around town, but there are a few in the city and surrounding area.

Except when Rick (Wyattsride) shows up, I am the only 928 at the Pitt CnC. I will say this though, last weekend was the big Hershey Porsche swap meet, which is heavily dominated by the 911 crowd and the 944 crowd. We ussually have a nice little gathering of sharks. This year was different from past years - I never saw as much interest in our cars before as I did this time. There was a great deal of interest from other Porsche people. It was fun to have the attention on our cars.

We have a cars and coffee in the Lehigh Valley, PA about 6 per year, easily over 1000 cars show up, Ferrari's, Lambo's to rat rods and both times I was there last year, the only 928 in the whole crowd. Only time I saw more than one 928 at a cars and coffee was when a bunch of us at Frenzy last year went over the Katie's cars and coffee in Great Falls, VA.

Yep, the big C&C in West Chester Pa had only the few i invited through this forum.
I really think it's due to model rarity and not that 928 owners are reclusive.

I went to C&C in Las Vegas this morning. Had over 20 Porsches there, and my 89 was the only 928 in the group. Mostly Caymans, and 911's, one 944, and one 968 cab, 914-6.

That's funny.
The last C&C in DePere (Green Bay, more or less) had three 928s.
Mine, Hacker's 79 track car and his wife's "Marylin."
And it only had 30 or 40 cars total.

We had our first coffee run yesterday and we had two 928's on a total of about 20 Porsche cars.
Gord and me.
Last year we even had four once. About thirty cars total.
And Gord wasn't around at that time.
Not bad after all.

Where I am in SoCal I usually end up being the only 928 there. Usually 928s end up being outnumbered by Lamborghini Miuras 3 to 1 or more, go figure .
I'm just happy that I know of 2 others that go to the somewhat local Supercar Sunday (cars and coffee got shut down) that own 928s.
