Thought the only 92 GTS (euro) in the USA was James Morrison and it's silver. Probably a scam. T

 

Price alone makes this a scam. I wouldn't bother to hassle this fraud, but wish he could be taken down.

Yup. I agree Steve. It's crazy what people are up to. Just wish there was a way to expose them for being losers.

 

Ahah! Used my reverse image search app and up pops this car for sale in Portugal on eBay. I love it when a plan comes together.

 

If you email them, they will probably say they cannot meet you, and are on an oil rig or some other BS. But send them the money and they will pay the shipping, and if you don't like the car, send it back. Ya, right!



I have encountered this scam, usually not so blatant, but still the same.

Once, there was a vehicle in Albuquerque and I was interested. Happened to be in Albuquerque the same week, but surprise, the car now was in NY. But since I would be in NY the week after, I said for them to meet there. Never heard from them again.

You are right - it was on Ebay a few weeks ago.

 

I bought mine for 5 K in michigan back in 03 or 04 , though it was in a expired storage unit, dead battery, 4 flat tires and no Idea if it ran, trailered home

 

I asked the seller what the VIN was, was it a European car, and how long has he owned it. Here is "Mr. Gilbert Thomas Copeland's" response:

I guess he didn't offer to show it or otherwise encourage you to inspect and buy?

If you click on the link now the site will tell you it cannot be found. Someone
told them the car described was worth 5+? times the asking and it must therefore be a scam.

 

The link above no longer works, but if you start a new search it finds it again.
In fact, it finds it twice (one listing for $5005, and a second listing for $5011).
