Original MSRP Stickers
Does anyone know if an original MSRP window sticker can be ordered from Porsche or anyone else? I recently purchased a GTS and the original owner saved all of the dealer records and subsequent repair and service records. However he did not save the MSRP and I would love to have the window sticker or a copy of it to save with all of the other records.

Hello soontobered84,
I was looking at the "Porsche certificate of authenticity program" in the member’s area (I finally got off my *** and paid up).
From what I can see it does not offer an original MSRP window sticker, or anything close. It seems to only be a certificate that includes options, sale price, etc...
This certificate does sound rather nice, but can anyone confirm if you can get a MRSP window sheet? If so, from where?
Thanks in advance

rdourro1,
I love the car! I shouldn't have waited so long to buy a 928. It's been my dream car since 1987 when the S4 came out. Best of all my wife loves the car. I have put 1000 miles or so on it since I purchased it two weeks ago, nothing but smiles every mile.

Tim,
Congrats for your new toy !!!
While you are still here (though it slightly off your original topic) I have a question.
I've driven several S4s(5-spd) and GTs and one GTS before and found out that the GTS I drove had significantly heavier clutch pedal compared to others.
I was advised by advanced members here that it can be adjusted on the "clutch assist spring" and also it depends on the maint condition.
How's yours ??
Thanks

Jinn,
I'm probably not the best person to ask since all of the cars I drove were autos, however I don't even notice the clutch effort at all in my car. My wife who unfortunately wants to drive also, did mention she noticed it took a little more pressure to depress, but after an hour in the seat she forgot all about it.
As to adjusting the clutch, I'll have to wait until I know more about the 928 to answer that question.
By the way, does anyone else notice that when your wife / girl friend /SO drives, every car on the road wants to race. Nothing like a blonde in the seat next to you when she know how make the car perform. Lots of embarased car owners out there in the Sierras.

Three Wheelin'
David, if I'm not mistaken the window stickers were printed and put on by the dealers. Porsche along with other brands, supplied the paper (form) and the dealer would add in "dealer options", "delivery costs" and all the other value added stuff.
My bet would be to locate the dealership originally that sold your car and see what it would take to have one reproduced.
