Default Bosch II injectors

What cars other than 928's use Bosch II injectors?
Greg Brown sells a kit that converts these to older 16v cars
I assume my '80 has Bosch l's?

The injectors I run are design two 4 hole type- they were advertised as 30lb injectors but tuned as 28lb injectors in ST2. Not sure of the model but when I checked the fitment of the number they related to a Pontiac model of some kind.

Age range will doubtless define models this design is fitted to but I do not have such info. Given Porsche were still using Design 1 injectors on the GTS I rather suspect Design 2 will span the year 2000 a number of years either side.

Regards

Fred

I have ford Crown Vic 4.6 injectors on one of my 928s. EV6 4-hole type. As I liked the newer design and quieter operating injector I got a set of Volvo EV6 injectors to try on one of my 968s. I matched up the specs using Stan Weiss' excellent table:

http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm

Have not tried them yet. I got the 928S4 specific O rings for the 928 injectors from fiveomotorsport

To clarify, using that table you can find injectors with the correct specs and include the EV6 and high impedance features if that is what you are after.

Please note that an injector with given specs might appear multiple times with Ford, Bosch, Volvo, Lucas, Siemens, etc. part numbers. You can google the part number to see if there is a car associated with the injector that is not noted in the table.

This really helps and solves the problem. Now I will see if Greg Browns adaptors will fit one of these
