Well, I can say with certainty that in the case of this car I was the only one to jumper the FP relay and that the LH computer was functioning prior to being used to test in the car. The fuel pump fuse ballooned and was highly corroded and the new fuel dampener blocked any fuel from getting to the rails.

I had an opportunity to swap in a rebuild LH computer with a good fuel pump relay into the car yesterday. And the car idled and sounded better than it did with a computer with a blown fuel circuit. Previously the car vibrated - yesterday steady as a rock.
