As they say, bad press is better than no press! Nice to see the 928 compared to the DB5!

The Aston Martin DB5 They Blew Up In Skyfall Was Really An Old Porsche

A moment of silence for a poor OB sacrificed on the altar of movie magic.

Front wheels need a better offset.

Terrible that they had to destroy a 928.. They coul d have used an old Toyota or something..

As an owner of both an Aston and 928, it pains me to think about sacrificing one child to preserve the other...

The owner probably looked at the cost of repairing it...and decided on this option.

And don't ask me how I know...

I dug out my copy of Octane (Feb '13) which focussed on the Aston. The 928 was a bodyshell , "dummied up" with genuine (used) Aston panels.

So I guess it was a case of live - and then let die
Same sort of thing happened in the original Italian Job
